I had started a thread on where are they now vein of questioning when it came to the winners of these competitions and I am glad to gain a little insight into what they do after they are deemed the best in the world.... in most cases the question is not answered...but hey... i shoulda been there

From the horse's mouth - the guesstimate/target on the prosumer LM is between 3 and 4K US but it will likely initially be more until production ramps up. First ten or so will be 'beta' testers. Wouldn't you like to be one of those?
They were clearly pleased with the buzz the new machine generated. I heard the same off-the-cuff delivery and pricing comments that have been widely reported, but I'm with Ken... the last mile is the longest, and Bill Crossland seemed content not rushing it out the door.
I am more interested in finding out... just what are they going to be naming the new pro-sumer La Marzocco machine?
I don't know, but I'm struggling with what to even call this new class of equipment vying for the über-geek's attention (e.g., LM consumer, Cynessa one-group, Versalab). "Prosumer" doesn't fit the layman definition, and tacking on "commercial" really misses the point. Espressophile maybe?
