I am a coffee newbie - never drank coffee till I moved to the US. (I grew up in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam, where the biggest crop is tea, and my family is involved in the tea business.) Having developed a taste for coffees recently, it is good to be able to read about experience of fellow newbies. Thanks, Becky.

I have been making coffee for a long time and have only just realised that Acidity was not Ph realted. Boy, am I a bimbo! Where can I find further information on standard terms for characteristics. I would greatly appreciate this. I have tended to avoid this area and put it down to esoteric jargon. Obviously I need to remove my blinkers, Thanks
