Great article and fairly true...
I learned all about Seattle coffee culture by frequent visits to the Last Exit while attending the University of Washington.
I had one espresso there and about died.
However, they made THE ABSOLUTE BEST iced mochas I've ever had...and the people watching there was amazing! I distinctly remember one hippy guy that frequented the place that looked like Moses or John the Baptist.
Like Schoemer, I too avoided the restroom (dungeon) like the plague!
But I occasionally think about how great it would be to enjoy another one of those iced mochas!
