That really gives we pathetic wannabes a lot of hope. I was under the impression that to get to Dismas' level you needed to be a seasoned Barista for decades.
I need to order some Zoka blend. Do they sell it green?

As far as I know, they don't sell their blends as green.
With regards to the 3 years thing, it is a short time, but you know what? One of the most gifted barista / espresso people I know, Aaron De Lazzer, has only been in this biz for 3 years as well. Makes you wonder where these guys will be in another 5 or so!

Just to let you all know...We got word from Oslo this morning that Dismas placed sixth in the world! We are all very excited. He will be back Monday afternoon and in the store working again on Tuesday...come by and congratulate him.

I'm wondering if the Espresso Paladino blend is blended pre-roast or post-roast...and would also like to find out if it is available green if it is a pre-roast blend.
In response to my own question above - here is an email I received from Zoka:
Thank you for your inquiry! Our Paladino blend is available for home roasters pre-blended. Simply go to our website, www.zokacoffee.com, find Paladino or any coffee you desire, and divide the price per pound in half.
That's your price, plus shipping. To calculate shipping go to UPS.com. Thank you! Neal V. Brown
