Mark, Nice survey. What an impact this site has! Your assumption was correct; I did express displeasure, based on the frequency of postings only, on some of the Coffeegeek areas. I'd still rate this site a 9.9 and hope you continue to keep up the hard work. It's evident and appreciated.

...but they aren't the main draw to the site, Mark. They aren't even number two or three. I like your reviews, your news, and I wish you had more tips (and yes, I said all of that in my survey response.)
Thanks for sharing the results with us. Very interesting!

Hi Mark. Have been enjoying your site from the beginnings, (which is not long). What I really miss is more and more frequent news items. Anything coffe related. Anything about new beams or coffe health info, new research etc.... Also you don't seem to review too many superautos. I still think you look down on them somewhat. You could get WLL to send you a Capresso 3000, then sell it after your review. I bet a ton of people would be interested in purchasing something that you set up to perfection and wrote review about. Like getting a car owned by the Beatles. Good deal for everyone. Thanx for the great site! Zed

Hey, I suppose I can spill it here.
I'm getting two super autos in the next few months to review.
One is the Schaerer Opal, supplied to me by Machines and Beans from Vancouver Island, this Thursday in fact.
The other is (tentative) a Franke Saphira, supplied by Espresso Specialists, Inc.
Joe thinks I'm gonna give it a stank review, but wants to do it anyway. The ironic thing about that Franke is this - it is, what ESI considers their lowest end, barely acceptable, almost don't wanna sell it espresso machine. Conversely, it is the high end, be all, end all, this rocks machine marketed by Jura (as the X9).
