I agree when you buy your machine it should come with better tamper. When you spend a couple of grand on a commercial machine they should offer you the best one for you. But like all tool's he is right. What works great for one is a burrden to another. Just some because something cost's a lot $ do's not make it better. I wonder how a steel tamper with hard neoprene or synthetic rubber would work. It make sense to have a tamper that fits to the shape of the diamater and surface of the upper screen on the machine. This will adjust the air space correctly and evenly to get a better yeild. Looking forward to getting a better tamper as soon as I get a better machine.
