Hi Mark!
Loved the reports. Did you get a chance to check out Hearthware's newest model, which is supposed to replace the precision? Curious as to what your thoughts are and if you have any pics.

I think Mark was filled in at the alt.coffee site about Hearthware, but when I talked to them, they basically said it was larger capacity, LCD display so you can adjust temp and time and they are adding vents so you can make accomidations for the outside temp (for you east coast people).

Your articles made me long for the days I was involved in the coffee industry-and even got to go to the SCAA show last year in Miami! You got much more schwag than I did last year (I didn't get any coffee beans), but I managed a calendar, some Earl Grey tea for my husband, some little plastic trinkets from Greater Houston Coffee Council (the city I'm from...they're lobbying to make Houston a coffee port), a burlap shoulder bag from the Puerto Rico booth, and a nifty little latte cup necklace from a place called Silver Legacy. Man, it was great! I had so much great coffee there, too! I was in heaven!
