Trans-Canada Coffee Adventure, Part 1: Vancouver
The Cafe Stage article by Liz Clayton

Liz Clayton journeyed across five Canadian provinces (with a brief foray into the US) to savour great coffees, tour great roasteries, and enjoy great cafés. Some people have all the luck! This is the first part of a three-part chronicle of her grand tour of coffee.

Hi Liz, enjoyed the article a lot. This part rang true:

....when I went back to the counter to ask for something off the Clover, something I asked the barista about the Ethiopian gave me away. "You're here to meet up with Lindsay, aren't you?" Ah, so it was going to be that kind of trip.

Definitely, a customer who appreciates good coffee brings out the best in any real barista.

I found this today and I'm really excited about the series. What great bands too. You definitely hit all of my Vancouver favorites with about the same results I get.. but you missed JJ Bean!!

Really looking forward to the rest of the series :)

Did you get over to Victoria to check out the shops there? It's just across the water and there're some pretty outrageous houses there.
