Appreciate the Krups review and suggestion as the Superauto pick.

One concern I wanted to get your opinion on was that this model does not have a removable brew group.

Will that not be an issue as brew group care is critical to Superauto performance and survival?

Thanks again....

Thanks, Mark, for the updated Gift List. I use it as a starting point when I am contemplating an upgrade. (Yes, I use the Gift List for myself, too!) For example, I used your updated list to help me select a new grinder, to accompany my new Breville Dual Boiler. I do not rely on a single recommendation, but it makes an excellent starting point to dig deeper.

A "Best in Category" guide is very helpful, since I'm otherwise unable to sort through all of the CoffeeGeek data and reviews to find a collective, ranking. (Hints on how to achieve this? New CoffeeGeek feature?)

What happened to Hario Technica 2 Cup Siphon which was once recommended by Mark Prince? Why didn't that make the holiday list this time?

And, when he writes that he had to downgrade teh Hario nouveau siphon because it was 'dumbed down', what does that exactly mean?
