Subject: Great First Look, but can we get rid of the sticker?

The Euro 2000 Junior really seems like a great machine, especialy when compared with others in its class.  I only wish they would change the incredibly ugly "Euro 2000" sticker on it.  It makes what should look like a very nice semi-pro tool look cheap.  Please tell us it can be removed!

Afaik, judging by Eddie Torre's pics and measurements, the boiler and piping is identical to my Tea's. Have they upgraded it? I couldn't tell from your pic.

I assume the Tea has the same boiler as the Millennium? If so, the Junior deluxe definitely has a larger boiler (visually, at least). I can do side by side photos after the New Year, if you'd like.

After reading the 'first Look'...I'm really glad that I've ordered one, I've also heard that the 'sticker' can be removd with the grntlr heat from a hairdrier; simply peels off.

No need to do side by sides, they must have upsized it since Eddie got his, since that one had the same 1.2 liter job as mine (right down to the pipes, heater, and fittings).

Having just come off the phone to Maria at Euroo 2000 I can confrim that the machine 'winging' it's way to me has had the Red on/off button replaced with a chrome plated, stainless looking, plastic push type switch.  Also that the LED's are now: 1 Green & 1 Red.  It also ships (in Europe at least) with 2 Portafilters (single/double spout).  For those of you who are still worried about the 'sticker' and were wondering if it could be moved from the front to the back, well, there's already a sticker on the back, I'll let everybody know if it is easy to remove when I get it (happy, happy..joy,joy).  BTW Maria is also sending me details of a new grinder by Euro 2000 called the...Junior, to complement the machine.  Will keep all you coffee nuts posted as & when.

Ciao

Drew

The E61 machines are becoming increasingly popular and available.  It seems that things come down to preferred looks, style and the price break you can get on one.

Thanks for yet another great first look. Like you, I really think the E61 group head is gorgeous as well as functional.

Euro2000 Junior Deluxe First Look

Some may call it a Giotto clone, but a peak under the hood and a look at the steaming prowess challenges that: it's our first look at the Euro2000 Junior Deluxe.

First look to detailed review lag time?

Allo!

Can anyone tell me when one might expect the Junior's testing phase to wrap up?  Apparently the machine has been tested for over a year.   The reason for my inquisitiveness :) is because a local dealer is selling one, and I may look into purchasing it.

How long, generally, is the time from FL to DR?

Thanks!
Jimmy O
