Thanks, Mark, for the First Look. I'm very interested in the Macap, but I'm very confused about the model numbers.
You reviewed the M5 grinder, which Macap lists on their web site as being 18.5 inches high (with a 1.3lb. bean hopper), too high to fit under most kitchen cabinets. See Click Here (www.macap.it) They don't even list an M4 grinder.

Mark, thanks for the 1st look. The MazzerMini has some real serious competition if the M5 has the durability of the Mazzers, if the stepped grind adjustment maintains a high level of precision and if the user can adapt or doesn't care for lack of fine grind adjustment. Hopefully this grinder will be equal or better than the Mini. At ~$350 msrp more people will be able to experience the benefits of a high quality grinder.

Nice first look. No buyers remorse yet with my mini:D. Would be nice to have the brake on the motor, but still prefer stepless. Did you notice any problem with play in the threads when going back and forth?(I think I've read some rocky users have noticed a little).
