Immersion Drip Brewer How To

The Bonavita Immersion Drip Brewer is the best of three worlds in coffee - it's a pourover, it's an immersion brewer, and it is porcelain. Christos Andrews walks you through two methods for brewing with this innovative device.

Excellent article!  Covers my daily brewing method (and I have them all).

Simple, easy to clean and elegant.  Coffee at its best.

Awesome job!

I've had my eye on these for a while. Then the review here on CG amped up my interest more and then recently Amazon told me the price had dropped so boom! I bought one. I love this thing. It is easy to use and makes a great cup.

Forgive the years late reply/chime in, here, but isn't the paper important?  Aren't many of the great results of a Chemex or Hario V60 pour attributed to the custom paper?

Great review----got me amped up too, to get this dripper!!!!  Long ago was thinking CD but the BV is porcelain (holds heat) and you have drip control---a win-win!  A local retailer here just started carrying the BV and I can use my 20% coupon.

Got my BV immersion dripper last night, had a $10 off coupon so $30 before tax (coupons usually 20% off but over the years they started issuing $5 and $10 coupons off $15 and $40 purchase amounts). While looking for the dripper I was surprised to see newly stocked Bonavita brewers on the shelf!  The glass carafe model only but that's great!  They were next to the YouBrew brewers.

This might amuse/appal you. In Britain, Amazon want the equivalent of $170 for this thing.

So, I checked Amazon.com, who want $239 or $103.99 depending on vendor. Nothing at $40
