Something new - a short news based podcast that I'll be doing (hopefully) once or twice a week in between the main CoffeeGeek Podcasts. It's in the main feeds for the CG Podcast.

Mark! Wow thats quite a doing. I enjoyed the podcast, but having one so often seems like quite an undertaking. None-the-less I have enjoyed your podcasts! I do like the idea of current news. That concept seems useful and appropriate for such quick-releases.

Love the ristretto format, so I can get my podcast fix almost as often as my espresso.
Not so sure about the reverse jinx of starbucks however. I wonder if the experience of local cafe owners in small towns (less than 50,000) would be similar. In my town of 9000, a starbucks would never be so packed as to send folks back to the cafe they used to go to. Perhaps starbucks would never come to such a small town, but I wonder. Walmarts also have less effect in large cities than in small towns for similar reasons.
