I was in L.A. for my cousin’s wedding, and since Coffee Klatch in San Dimas was nearby, I got to visit it (actually three times during my stay.)
Mike Perry, the owner, is a very nice guy. He was busy when I got there, and he was kind enough to take his time off to talk to me about coffee and his business.
His daughter, Heather, was not there, so James made me a cup of Latte. IMHO, it was one of the best Latte(s) I have ever had.
I went back to Coffee Klatch 2 days after, just because I wanted to try Heather’s signature drink, “Naked Verbena.” She was there, but Verbena leaves (a main ingredient) were out of the season right now, so I settled for a cup of Latte with a nice heart art. It was icing on the cake. Then I had a double shot of ristretto, TASTY!
I had a great time in L.A., and I really enjoyed talking to Mike and Heather. They are truly first class, and I hope anyone who happens to visit Southern Cal., make sure to stop at Coffee Klatch. You are going to like their coffee...
