Subject: Where can i find some unique large coffee mugs

I would like to purchase a unique large coffee mug(s) for a friend and i'm not quite sure where to find one.  I don't want the standard looking mug but something that is different looking and something that a coffee geek would really appreciate.  I am not concerned about the price. :-D  I would prefer buying online but will be willing to run to a store.  Thanks for your suggestions.

Try local pottery shops. We have several stores that feature locally thrown pottery, including unique mugs (we collect these ourselves).

There are even potters who allow people to decorate pre-fired bisque ware for a fairly reasonable fee. We did this a couple of years back for our anniversary in a small Colorado town...had to go back a week later and pick up the fired pieces which turned out great!!
