I trashed my last cappuccino after taking one sip. I can't afford to waste my honest hard earned cash to line some shareholders pockets. I was a faithful customer maybe about ten years ago, but now they've lost me for good, I haven't stepped foot in another Second Cup since.

FWIW, I went to a Starbuck's with one of my kids on Saturday -- she (aged 16) likes their white mochas, what can I say?  So I ordered an iced coffee -- how bad could it be, I figured?  Coffee from the cooler, add ice -- I'd add some milk to reduce the bitterness and . . . HOLY $#|+ it's SWEET!!!

I walk back to the counter . . .

"Did you put sugar in this?"

"Uh, you didn't want sugar?"

"I didn't ask for sugar."

"You want me to re-make it?"

"Uh, yeah.  Why would you add sugar to it?"

"We always do."

Just like Dunkin' Donuts and tim Horton's . . .

A morning without coffee is sleep . . .
