I drink drip coffee all day long and have been using el cheapo drip coffemakers all of my life. I recently bought a Bunn coffeemaker and I can not believe the difference! I have been missing out on the taste of good coffee for a long time and didn't even know it. My coffee improved when I started roasting my own, but now I can really taste the flavors in the beans. Life is good.
I'm not sure if you are joking, but it is a brand name that is popular here in the States. It may not be absolute top-of-the-line, but it is a big jump up for me.

There are many different Bunn models, most highly regarded due to quality and getting to full temp. The professional ones are used at many coffee shops.

I am the only person in my house who drinks coffee, so I did not need a large one, so I got the BUNN Classic 10-Cup Commercial Style Coffee Brewer. Not sure what the model number is... too lazy to get up and check. It is considerably larger than my el cheapo and I love the hot water reservoir which sure does speed things up. Along with the hotter brewing water, the spreader head (is that what you call it?) helps the grounds get water more evenly. Next on the list is a better grinder, but am good for now. Might hint to wifee about the grinder for Christmas... looking at the Baratza Maestro Plus.

Mine is almost exactly yours... just a few very small cosmetic differences it appears. It is the Velocity Brew BX model. So far it is doing a great job.
