I drink a heavy mug of coffee every morning, and one of my office colleague called me as a 'coffee nut'. Another one called me a 'caffeine head'.

That got me thinking.

What do you call your fellow coffee enthusiast?

I think when most coffee enthusiasts see my commercial roaster in the garage and have a sample they call me friend, behind my back I am sure they call me crazy.

Caffeinista?  Maybe that's a little too broad.

Coffee Nerd is actually what I've been using; I prefer its connotations over "Geek".

LOL.  I actually own a t-shirt that says "coffee snob" on the front, and then has the definition on the back.

I actually like the term enthusiast, but given the name of this website, I have to agree that "coffee geek" is most appropriate.

one of my favorite expressions is..."friends don't let friends drink Starbucks!"

CoffeeGeeks don't let their friends go to *$$
