The stand that is... I can't afford a fancy one like on the home page but with some patience and a pipe cutter you can make one too.

Supplies needed

10' of 1/2" red copper tubing at Home Depot Type M = $12.40
Qty. 4 - 90 degree 1/2" copper elbows = $5.44
Qty. 4 - 1/2" copper tees = $3.88
1 copper pipe cutter got it on sale at Harbor Freight for less than $5 sorry lost the receipt.

Mine is 18 inches wide to fit 3 V60's
Roughly 9 inches tall to fit my 16 oz Bodum cups and to fit a scale under
and 2.5" between the two top rails to fit the V60's on.

Get creative, measure twice and cut once.  I still have 3 feet of left over copper tubing!

I hope this helps.  Let me know what you guys think.  I didn't solder it to keep it clean looking but the fittings are snug fit.

I love it - thanks for sharing a great idea.

I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

Thanks, I've been scheming about this for a while and finally had the day off to execute it.  I figured the money I saved on this project can go towards my coffee addiction.

Glad to pass this along to others who have the same passion.

Sweet! That would look great in my bar.

You know those people that want to tell you how to raise your kids but have none of their own? That is how i feel when someone with a kitchen appliance tells me how the merits or dis-merits of my machine or how to use it.

Not trying to be a wise *ss, but are these racks just "cool factor" or do they serve a purpose?

i say form and function.  i don't know if you use a scale when you do pour over but it's a pain to tare the scale with the cup, V60 and grinds then to calculate how many grams of water you have in the cup.  each V60 weighs differently, each cup weighs differently...

With this I can get a more accurate reading with out having to calculate in my head how much this particular V60 weighs, how much this cup weighs, etc.  it could have been done in wood, stainless steels, or plexiglass but I feel the copper adds a warm touch and looks cool. It was easy to replicate and i personally like to see how much coffee i have in the cup and don't have the Hario carafe.

click on this link to find out how much people are charging for something similar.
