Sorry with the slow replies as I could not log into the site for some reason. Anyway, tea and butter is what I was referring to in Tibet. But I think the parallels are comparable.
I think it's great that some of you have gone out and tried it. I am curious to know pizzaman how the 1/4 tbsp of butter works out and if you think that could ever replace milk.
Try using an immersion blender or one of those frothing whips...it makes the butter whip into a nice foam....almost like a cream. For a special treat, add some coconut oil as well.

Grant: butter, coconut oil and coffee may equal the greatest laxative known to man. I like the idea of whipping it up though. I am going to try some butter now.

hehe....perhaps! For mornings when I am in a big rush, need a good coffee, but want some extra calories to sustain me when I know I can't stop for breakfast...the coconut oil/buttered coffee is my "go to" drink.
