Dangerous Grounds, premieres Monday, November 5.  I was told by Barry, the host started his coffee business La Colombe Torrefaction in Philly. I look forward to the show.

Good for him on pushing his show through the process of getting it on the air.

I think any buyer looking for the best beans, regardless of the end use store, all make similar trips

Coffee is still treated like a red haired stepchild.  Even those so called top chefs still use the powder espresso or instant coffee in their recipes.  I understand this type of show is old news among coffeegeek(s), but it is a right step for a TV channel to show it.

Since I don't have a TV, and until a couple weeks ago didn't have a computer capable of streaming/viewing I never found places to do it from.

If this is going to be available streamed, and anyone knows where, please post.

A good start! Carmichael is tough character, but I can't say much about the camera guy.

calblacksmith, I doubt all coffee buyers have trips like his.. : )

I think the show is just that, a trip to make a show. All quality coffee roasters that I know, make trips to find the best coffee they can, I saw the show last night and this has confirmed in my opinion anyway that this show is more "show" than trip for coffee. YMMV
