Not that I'd agree with all of it, have been to or had the coffee from most of the west coast ones. Missed the second Portland one when I was up there, wasn't even a name on my radar.

I have to admit, perhaps due to the season, I lingered far longer on the hot chocolate selections. LOL

I have to admit I spent a little more time than needed lingering in the hot chocolate section as well :D

However, I agree it's the time of year that pushes us in that direction... As well as to the assortment of candies that go with it...

It's getting expensive reading all these posts in the forum...I've signed up for a coffee club, ordered a coffee grinder, ordered some non-coffee related xmas gifts via link from posters....gotta sign off now!  But, really feel like the coffee world is opening to me : )
