So, the holidays are just around the corner, and it's time to start thinking about those dinner parties, the guests and things you are going to serve.

What are some of your favorite coffee recipes for the holidays?

I like coffee cake, and of course I love to make orange coffee with a nice smooth coffee liqueur.

Very simple stuff, a double shot topped with home-made heavy whipped cream (which is made with vanilla and sugar, of course). Cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Sounds pretty good. What do you generally serve as a snack with that? Or is it just that?

This seems to me the perfect Christmas season recipe:
  • Advocaat Dream: Top espresso with advocaat (or eggnog) and whipping cream.

"This drink of the Satan is so delicious that it would be a shame to leave it to the infidels." (Pope Clement VIII on coffee, when he was urged to ban the beverage)

I hadn't considered adding eggnog to the mix. Thanks for the idea :)
