Coffee is still treated like a red haired stepchild. Even those so called top chefs still use the powder espresso or instant coffee in their recipes. I understand this type of show is old news among coffeegeek(s), but it is a right step for a TV channel to show it.

I think the show is just that, a trip to make a show. All quality coffee roasters that I know, make trips to find the best coffee they can, I saw the show last night and this has confirmed in my opinion anyway that this show is more "show" than trip for coffee. YMMV
