Does anyone have one? They look like a good deal but I saw some unfavorable reviews on Amazon. There were complaints of the spout breaking, rust, and a rounded bottom causing it to rock while on a glass top stove. I tend to think the first two might be from misuse, but I have a glass top so a rounded bottom wouldn't work.
So I would like to hear anyone's experience with both the stove top version and the electric.

Excellent kettle. We tested the electric one with a road show on GCBC. Received unanimous endorsement. No rust, no issues. Flat kettle. Superb pouring tip in comparison to the Hario kettle I had. Buy it with confidence.

I have used all three versions but only have the electric and electric PID at home - no rust, breaking spouts, etc. for me - mine might be one of the oldest ones out there too...
I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

I'm looking to get the electric one with the thermometer setting but am turned off by the plastic lining inside the kettle. I guess I'm paranoid of all those toxins.

There is no plastic in contact with water in the design of this kettle. Some on the handle/base, but nothing to leech into the water, so nothing to worry about as far as toxins in your drink are concerned.

The kettle came today. Everything looks good and solid. I emailed the company a few days ago and they said that there was an issue with the welding on some of them, but it was resolved. Also, for those who were wondering, there is no plastic on the inside. I was so excited when it came in I wanted to brew some coffee, but I would be up all night. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Okay, so I used it this morning and couldn't be happier. It was a great pour. Very easy to control. There was no issue with it rocking the glass top stove. The only thing I can think of what that would happen with some people is because there was water on the bottom, which caused pressure and steam. Great kettle. I'm very happy with it.
