well, I was an inch away from emailing the bucks asking them how they're going to pull off $30/lb harar.  But something caught me before I could.  I started doing the email form, and theres a pulldown list about what the email is about, one of the choices was "requesting a new store location"

thats how they open 500,000 new stores a year...

If they were any good, I'd request they put one in my backyard.

Maybe we could use this in the so-called War on Terror.  Can we request they build a few on top of those madrasas in the Mid-east.  They'd have to level the school in order to build the store. (Yes, this was intended as a politically insensitive joke).  ;-)

That's the same way McDonald's does it.

Hey, JRT, where in Atlanta do you live/work?  I lived in the greater Atlanta area 15 years.

I just got an apartment in the Emory/N. Druid Hills/Toco Hills area, right off I-85.  Wife and I move out from LA in the beginning of September.

You're in a good area. Toco Hills has no less than 3 or 4 coffee shops, one of them being Atlanta Coffee Co. I wasn't impressed by their espresso, but they do roast their own beans.

I just bought a condo in downtown Atlanta at the intersection of Ralph McGill and Central Park Place, between Ponce and Freedom Pkwy. I'm only a couple of blocks from the downtown connector (I-75/I-85). I've been in and out of and around Atlanta most of my life. Are there any decent coffee houses here ? I mean, ones that can serve a good espresso with care ?

I've read good things about Aurora Coffee in VA/HI.  Drove by it once.  Haven't stopped in yet.

I had espresso in a to-go cup from there and wasn't impressed. Then again, a to-go cup is not really giving the place a fair shake. I'll try it in a demitasse the next time.
