Subject: Need Tips on roasting Kona

I am addicted to Kona coffee. Since I am new to roasting beans what level should Kona beans be roasted to?
I did order some of the Brazil Carmo Estate Peaberry green beans from SM to try and roast also. I like a sweet and light coffees.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gail in So Cal

Yes, too far & you'll ruin the delicate nuance of a great Kona!

I've only roasted Kona 1EX and 1's in a 500 lb. roaster.  We never went above full city in about 15 minutes.  It's not grown at a very high altitude so it would be subject to burning in a real dark roast.  I also agree with the others: you don't want to cover up the subtle flavors.
