Hi all. I have searched everything I can find on doing the simply mod for the original poppery. The one where you separate the heater and fan circuits so you can control the fan with a dimmer. I just can't seem to understand what is going on. Ever drawing I have seen is either for the poppery II or for other mods than the fan dimmer or something was more complex. Can some one please help me out with either a link to a simple drawing on what wires to cut etc. I would be so grateful.
Lastly, I am supposed to remove the internal thermostat too right? Looks like I can just remove the screw as shown here?http://members.cox.net/felixdial/popper.mods.shtml
I did it a year or more ago and I can't exactly remember but removing a screw in the tstat sounds right. Seems like there is another place on the web with pictures and explanation explaining it.

Here's a good explanation and pictures about 2/3 of the way down (starting at 2-17) the page. They suggest just turning the screw out a couple of turns.
