I have a tenant who left behind several new Gene Cafe Roasters and need to get rid of them. Is there an equipment for sale section here? Just want to blow them out, hate storing stuff.

I don't have 10 post nor registered for more than the minimum time. I have been coming here for years though, which is how I got interested in home roasting. I have 11 of these new and want to blow out. They are listed on craigslist in Los Angeles. Or if okay, pm me here or reply.

One left. Check craigslist Los Angeles or Seattle. Seems most were shipped to N. CA, Oregon and WA.

Thanks. I had just bid on one on eBay but if I get outbid and you still have, then I'll be contacting you. Do you take paypal? Can you ship to 19101? I can email you a fedex label for shipping if you like.

I hate to say it, but this sounds like a scam.  Who buys 11 brand new Gene Cafe roasters and then leaves them behind...$5,500 worth of equipment.  Not taking Paypal is also a red flag.  Anyone buy from this guy?

Maybe I am just jaded, but someone tried to scam me about 4 weeks ago as well, about the same time this was posted.

I didn't, so I can't say yay or nay. Actually it was the not taking paypal that did it for me.

i wouldnt be surprised if he sold them all by now.

i can vouch that he is a real person and seems legit.  i talked to him by phone and was going to pick one up locally from him.  I decided i was going to just use my behmor that i had gotten a week earlier and decided to pass.

The details on why he had 11 to sell were a bit complicated and is probably best left to the OP to explain to you.
