Hi, I had roasted a few round of regular bean and waiting for the delivery of new batch of decaf green bean. I would appreciated if someone can provide few head up tips on what to avoid compare with regular green bean.

The biggest difference I've noticed is that there's a lot more chaff with Regular vs Decaff. Otherwise, I've found they process pretty much the same. I mostly roast decaff since BF can't drink too much regular and I don't really care if its regular or decaff.
This statement is 100% accurate at least from my years of roasting coffe. Decaf goes quicker and gets darker quicker which in turn means bean ignitions occur quicker.
Always stay with your roaster and on decaf cool at the first hint of second crack..
REMINDER: Never leave the roaster unattended when in use !! And remember to use our Rosetta Stone tip PART V PARAGRAPH 3.. it works !!!
