I don't quite understand how you can say their prices are good. They all seem to be around $7 or so a pound and up. Seems high to me.

Does Bodhi Leaf do broken bags or smaller than single bag amounts?

Get on the Klatch mailing list: http://www.klatchroasting.com

They typically offer free shipping on $50 orders at the end of every month.

We have a list of reputable suppliers on our website under "Bags and Beans". www.coffeecrafters.com. I've either used them or have roasting friends who have.

http://www.thecaptainscoffee.com I love this place. I've ordered from SM's, Roastmasters, and CBD, and I'll go with these guys every time. They offer super fast shipping and a quality product. I'd highly recommend them.

I have been roasting coffee for myself and friends for about a year. Up until I read this post I used Sweet Marias exclusively.
I was unaware of the other options I had.
I created a comparison spreadsheet of price per lb. and shipping costs and for where I live, Minnesota, Burman is the most affordable.
Bodhi Leaf appears to be cheaper than SM too. I will upload my comparison chart later.

One difference I have noticed is that Sweet Maria's labels their bags with the flavors, aromas, and recommended roast for the bean.
Burman does not do that yet, so I had to check on their online store. I like that SM beans have the recommended roast level for the bean because I tend to over roast using my Whirley-Pop. I am not sure on the Bodhi coffee as my shipment hasn't arrived yet.

SM, has more info on their site and its easy to use so I am pretty partial to them. However I am not in favor of spending more on beans AND shipping so looks like I may be switching.

Burman uses a local delivery company called Spee-Dee and is at least $3 cheaper per shipment. Looks like I can order 35 lbs. of coffee for less than $9 shipping which is how much flat rate is from Sweet Marias.
