Subject: Behmor over 400 roasts and going strong..

It's been a few yrs since I've been here.. I tried everything to start with the Behmorthing program and all for a yr or so..  I could almost never make it into second crack 30-60sec the way I liked it even with 12 oz..   I started pre heating the beans in the micro wave 12oz for 1 min in a big pyrex cup and it worked out great..  I now roast a full pound at a time with 4 min in the MW (stir 3 times).. The only thing that happens is they pre heat and some moisture / steam cooks off..  I throw the whole pound in and set 1#P2C and hit the add button to total 22:30..  I've been doing whole pounds this way for 2 yrs with great results.. I always baby sit the machine the last few min to listen for 2nd but seldom stop it sooner...
