Hi all,

I just had my Sonofresco roaster refurbished and upgraded with the new ADR (I only became interested in purchasing this roaster after hearing about the ADR at Coffeefest), is anyone else using one? I moved up to this after many years of being happy with a Behmor, and I'd like to really start my journey towards learning with this tool. Is there anyone experienced in fluid bed roasting that can take me under their wing and offer me some feedback as I move forward? I drink exclusively espresso at home, but I have a lot of neighbors who are interested in purchasing medium to dark roasts and decafs for drip coffee. I've been making my own profiles for espresso blends, decafs, and African coffees, but maybe it would be more effective to hear how others would specifically change this default profile (link below) for different beans? Email is usually checked more regularly than the forum, so let me know if you'd be open to communicating that way. I've also filmed some videos of the roaster in action, if anyone is interested.

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,
I've recently been asking for info on the ADR Sono on several forums. The most info I got about this roaster and ADR upgrade was over at GCBC. They have quite a few users of the sono and would fair better asking this question there. Hope you have better luck than I did.
