Hi this is my first post, and a pic of my first roast.
I just discovered this site a few days ago, and when I found out how easy it is to home roast I was hooked. I am definately a DIY type person, so the idea of roasting my own beans was very appealing. I already had a Popcorn Pumper, so I picked up some green beans a gave it a shot. I roasted about 2 hours ago, so I haven't tasted yet - I'll wait a couple more hours at least - but they look and smell great.

Congrats on your first roast! Have fun with it and continue to experiment!
If you are looking for a good local source of green beans, I have heard good stuff about Planet Roasters: http://www.planetroasters.com
I have a lb of Cuban beans from there that I am looking forward to trying one day. Holding off though because it is hard to find places willing to ship em down here! LOL
