Espresso: La Pavoni Espresso Si Grinder: Mazzer Mini
Posted Sun Sep 9, 2007, 9:53am Subject: My Mazzer quit grinding
I tried adjusting the grind on my Mazzer mini, and found that I couldn't really get it coarse enough for French Press, so turned it back for espresso and now it won't grind at all! I did leave coffee beans in but had it running while adjusting (the instructions say "preferably without beans" but I figured I'd just waste a little coffee). Do I have a bean wedged in the discs? The motor runs but nothing comes out. I tried brushing things clean, jiggled the beans around, made sure the shoot was open. I've only had it about a month. Any suggestions?

THANK YOU! I did just that, without beans this time, and now it's grinding again on the fine setting. Whew! Was afraid I was going to have load that monster into a box for servicing somewhere. Thank you so much!
