Hi Jean! I don't have a list, but I've seen/read post describing the ones that do.
I say a Braun KF600 for a reasonable price, it has a fine gold filter, but I am unsure of the brewing temp (got a gut feeling it would be money wasted in my case)...
I'm not sure about that one..
Can you get a gold filter for the Bunn?
No.
P.S. Good purchase on the Bunn, I actually am considering the same model with the thermal brewer.
It's funny, the Bunn BTX-B is the cheapest if I am looking at the Bunn models, Technivorm or the Capresso MT500 with thermal carafe. The only thing I am wary is the fast brewing of 3 minutes, I'd be happier with a 4 minutes brew.
How hard was it to get the bunn Tim Hortons restrictor spray head? I want to order the Bunn BTX-B from Greenbeanery but I don't want headaches for the price I would be paying. Do you know if Tim Hortons still sales Bunn coffee makers? Do they sale the BTX-B model (stainless steel thermos)?

You'll be able to do that easily enough, have you read the long thread about the Tim Horton's 3 hole restrictor sprayhead & the larger filters to use in it?

All you have to do after buying your BUNN is to call them up & ask for the Tim Horton's 3 hole restrictor sprayhead as you want a longer brew time. They should mail it out to you free of charge.

No, I don't believe they do., & if they did you'd be paying a lot more than the Greenbeanery! {;-)

No I haven't read the thread, I think I;ll hunt it down. But this has convince me to buy it though. Once I get it I'll just call them and request the restrictor spray head.
Thank you, now to figure where I will place it in the kitchen, might take the spot from my kettle since I will use it less.
Cheers!
Edit: Order has been placed. Site said only two left.... makes you wander if it's truly a selling feature. Although it did state one left after I placed the order!

Just received the BUNN BTX-B. First impression: a very simple machine for the price, but seemed to be well engineered.
This machine reminds me of the hot water reservoirs that keep boiling water on hand always ready for service. The mechanics of the machine is very simple once you see the process for priming the machine. I guess the expensive part of the machine is really the boiler/temperature control system which usually cost quite a bit in these machines if you want to achieve true accuracy.
My first impression of the thermos is again I am impressed. It's designed for keeping the most heat while making it still easy to serve without the faulty parts in usual thermos which could break or fail due to pressure build up. Who ever came up with the whole design of the BTX-B should get a pat on the back! This whole machine is very well designed while keeping every thing to the bare minimum in complexity. It a marriage of mechanical functions with electronic without the extra bells and whistle which you don't really need. I can see why this has a 3 years warranty since the only real thing that could break down short of human tempering (i.e. hammer or strong handed persons) is the boiler/temperature control system, nothing else is electronic, there is no pump on this machine!
With the always ready hot water and a 3 minutes time (max) to make a pot of coffee, you don't really need a timer. I always found that clocks on coffee machine were useless and a bit annoying since they were always the ones that don't have the correct time or flashing. Only draw back is if you need to make more than 1 pot of coffee in succession, you got ~7-10 minutes wait time to head the water properly once the reservoir has been used (or at least to my understanding.. I could be wrong).
I do believe this machine is over priced, but then you got to reward the company for the well designed machine and thermos.
Cheers!
