Subject: Affordable grinder for French Press?

Hi Everyone,

I know that this question *has* to have been asked before, but I tried with desperation to use the search and couldn't bring anything back. So, my question is relatively simple:

I'm in the UK, and using a French Press. I have been purchasing freshly roasted and freshly ground coffee online, but I'd like to start just buying the beans, and grinding my self. I'm struggling to pull a clear winner from a large selection of grinders. They would need to be affordable i.e. ~£50, so it's quite a demand.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help,

Charlie -

This seems to come up once a month so I'm surprised the search engine came up blank. The Capresso Infinity works fine for Press or Drip grinding & sells for $89 on Amazon U.S.  I use a Zassenhaus Knee Mill for my press brewing. Click Here (baldmountaincoffee.com)

Thanks for the recommendation, but it doesn't look like that grinder is readily available in the UK. We also seem to have a lack of suppliers for Zassenhaus, I've looked. Thanks again though,

I see what you mean, Amazon UK shows mostly low end grinders & Chinese hand Mills. Lots of Zass mills on Amazon.de .
