I'm new, and had this posted in the wrong discussion group:
I've had the Livia 90 Auto for a couple of months and it's been working well with one exception. When I program the 2-cup (or the 1-cup for that matter) button, with the instruction book in front of me, it works fine on the first try after being programmed. But on the second try, it switches off 4 seconds early! I've tried it several times on both buttons.
I have the programming method correct--push in the right-hand button till the light goes on, press the 2-cup button, let it pour the desired amount of time, turn off the right-hand button. I have a timer on the counter and press it to count down at the same moment as the Livia's timed button is pushed, so I know what's happening. Not a big deal to just use my timer for the pour, but that's not why I got it!
Any suggestions, please? I haven't called Pasquini yet, but I probably will.

Is it dispensing the same volume of water that it did during the programming step? The volume should be something to check rather than just basing it on time.
Also, you may see a difference in output volume when comparing the amount when there's no coffee in the basket to when you do have coffee in the basket, mainly due to the possible flow of some brew water into the drip tray via the overpressure valve (OPV) if there's too much resistance.
You might already know this but I thought it might be worth mentioning to rule those possibilities out.
