As per subject.  I've read the manual and it doesn't give specifics.  I tried calling Krups and they acted like I was asking for nuclear bomb secrets.

Does this option increase the brew temperature?  Does it affect rate of water flow?  Both?  Neither?

Thanks for any info.

Jeff

Don't have a Krups so I can't answer with high degree of assurance. Generally, the small pot setting on brewers reduces the water flow through the basket, i.e. it increases the contact time. This is to avoid underextraction when brewing a small volume of coffee in a standard size filter basket.

Not at all....... just that most people won't take the time to answer simple questions like that. No offense.

Yeah Dooglas is correct. Later!
