Mine should be arriving today. I'll be roasting tonight and will probably make my first pot with it in the morning. I just checked the Sam's Club site and not only is it out of stock it wouldn't even come up for me in a search. I had to go into my order history to find the item number (#197641) and even that won't come up in their search tool. I wonder if they are not going to carry it any longer.

Just got home and got it open. Great looking machine, I know my wife would much prefer this on the counter over the VP-17, but I pointed out there was plenty of room for both. :) It feels like a solid, well thought out product, I like the little touches like the groove they built in to hold the grounds spoon. I just finished a batch of coffee in the Behmor so I'll make a pot in the morning and see how she performs.

You are really good at the photo posting Craig!!

Well, sad to say, and I knew the day was coming, but I hoped it would be farther off, that the machine is indeed SOLD, gone, kaput, no longer available.  That is the danger of putting on the net too though.  I am sure some savvy business owners picked up a few to flip.  I do not know of anyone selling it for less than the Best Buy stores now.  Glad those of you that got them jumped on it!!  Enjoy.

lol, thanks MaryAnn! {;-)

They're still shown as available at Best Buy for $79.99, but the next highest price is $129.95 at Seattle Espresso Gear, but here's a quick Google Product Search: Click Here (www.google.com)

P.S. This wasn't there when I posted, but it is now., a further 5% discount ($6.50 less & free shipping for order over $49) coupon code tag is there at Seattle Espresso Gear! {:-D

Just a heads up, I have had mine about a week and it crashed and burned. This made very good coffee while it lasted, bought it from Sams club about 2 weeks ago run about 25 pots threw it, turned it on this morning came back and coffee was all over the counter and a electrical smell was bad. Don't know what happened but I think the the drip exit into the pot got clogged and overflowed even back into the Water reservoir. I took great care and not over fill. I noticed even the water tank is loose. I called Delonghi and they referred me to Sams Club for replacement and Sams indicates they are out of stock. They advised me to take it back to a local Sam's Club and they would do a refund. I did notice the construction of these are very fragile I don't think they are built to last.I am very disappointed, my Wife really liked it and for a short time it made good coffee.I don't think I will be buying another one. For those that have one or thinking about buying one, handle it with kid gloves. Even that said It isn't not a very solid built item.Looks great, worked great for a very short time. Hope this helped with your buying decision. Rich

Sorry to hear about this. My unit seems to be well constructed, but the seals between the boiler and on/off switch (and possibly the hot plate) and the base are not fully watertight. Spilled liquids can leak into the base, shorting out the electronics. So be careful with spills, and unplug the coffee maker immediately if one does occur.

Any new info on this machine?  Is everyone still happy?  I'm trying to decide between this and a Bunn with thermal carafe.  Amazon has the Delonghi for 69.99 plus free shipping.
