Hello, I've searched the posts to try to find if this has been addressed and am not seeing it. I've had the Santos 3000 electric for quite a while - over 5 years. Within the past 6 months, it has not been draining well at all. Will typically drain 3/4 of the coffee into the lower compartment then stop. If I place the upper compartment in a carafe it will eventually drain out. I purchased a replacement filter, with limited to no improvement. We have not changed our grind at all so I don't think it is an issue of fines clogging. Could there be a loss of vacuum somewhere? Any help would be deeply appreciated as the Santos is beloved to us. Regards, John
Thanks much for the response. That thought did occur to me and I tried putting a little vegetable oil on the gasket to see if I could get a better seal but that didn't work. I am trying to figure out how to recondition the gasket if possible. If not I guess it is RIP Santos. Thanks.
