Hi I bought one of these about a year ago, didn't have much luck with it. Did a very nice job of brewing but it only lasted about a week it overflowed and even got into the electrical I don't know why it did that I followed the directions very close.I tryed to clean it without success to far gone.I originaly purchased from Sams club took it back they refunded me the cost but not the shipping.I found it to be very nice looking but it was constructed very flimsy. It did brew to 200 deg and very good drip.I wouldn't pay to much for it probably won't last very long.Hope this helps in your buying decision.Best of luck Rich

Well, after a year and a half of service, mine has given up the ghost. Fortunately, I had purchased Sams' $5 extended warranty, so they are sending me all my money back. Now begins the great adventure of finding another coffee maker.

Look on Ebay I see a Technivorm Thermal "Buy it Now" for $139 with free shipping.
I think it is a risky purchase though. The seller has few ratings, and mostly or all buys. He listed 10 earlier this week for $99. I bought two, so we will see.

If you try to "buy it now" you get a red message box about not being able to complete the transaction - haven't seen that one before but it doesn't look like any TV's are going to get sold for $139 from that auction any time soon.

I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

I saw mention of this on another forum too.

Yeah, I will post here to keep you updated. It would probably take a week for me to actually get it. The seller did just get a positive review for something that sold for more than the TVs. I think if it were a fake sale it would have been before he listed the items. Like Eric said, it is mostly Paypal's risk(maybe why there is an issue), so if Ebay ever lets a sale go through, you might as well roll the dice.
