Hey Len & other CG members, that $350.00!!!! original price is ludicrous!, just sayin'..
The Bunn VPR-APS for years it seemed was only $199.95 at Costco.com including the carafes & free shipping in CONUS, but a few monthe back the price went up to $229.99., a 15% jump. Still the cheapest price around AFAIK.
I've just ordered on Tues the 23rd from the Webstaurant Store an Avantco C15 pourover airpot brewer, ALL stainless steel for an incredible value of $149.99 & is comparable to the Bunn. I'd suggest that the CG members look into this brewer, for value for your hard earned money!
The airpot isn't included, but during the Webstaurant's "Free Birthday Gift! You get presents on our 7th birthday!"., a person can select a free (1 of 10 items) {coupon code AIRPOT} 2.2 liter ss aipot #234AP522 (value of $19.49) absolutely free.

I think if it were a fake sale it would have been before he listed the items. Like Eric said, it is mostly Paypal's risk(maybe why there is an issue), so if Ebay ever lets a sale go through, you might as well roll the dice.

The posting says it will be shipped from Canada and it is economy shipping. The persons name is Qihong Xiao and his email's domain is 163.com which is a Chinese site. Estimated delivery for my order is 10/05 to 10/18. I just emailed him, bur he hasn't communicated to me at all, and he has not fixed his Paypal issue. I am not holding my breath.

Anyone notice it only holds 1.25L. My Bunn (10 cups, 50 oz) is full sized. (1.7L approx.) So, basically, an 8 cupper. Just thought it important info to post.
Got BIG wattage at 1550 watts, which, not being good at these things would be something like roughly 13 amps? No wonder that thing gets water hot!

Bunn uses the same technology for all of thier machines. Prices at Amazon start around $90 for the base model and $120-ish for the thermal carafe model (if I remember correctly)
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, I have a good excuse though and my mommy wrote me a note! Seriously though, I was stopped by the website problems earlier and then I forgot until this morning.
Even at $70 or $80, I would probably spend a bit extra and get a Bunn. I have no knowledge of the brewing temp. or longevity of the Delonghi but I do prefer the look of the Bunn better (just a personal opinion). Maybe I have a bias against the Delonghi name because of the crappy espresso machines they make....
OT, but responding to Jon. I have the STX, purchased for $129. 50 oz capacity )1.7L. What I like is that you can use it and a toaster oven on the same circuit at the same time with no tripping the breaker. 3 year warranty as well.
It is nice to have hot water instantly as well. I recirculate my tank at least once a day through use, so the water is pretty fresh come brew time. For those unfamiliar with the Bunn technology, it has a tank that holds water at 200f until you pour cold water into the filling area. You get exactly the water you displaced, only it's at around 200f. Brew time with the restricted brew head attachment is about 4:45 for a full 1/7 L. With the 6 hole head from the BTX, brew time is 4 minutes flat. The stock brew head (they're really just screw on button-like attachments) is a new design, but I find it puts too much water straight down into the basket, and because the basket isn't conical, it makes for weaker coffee. A slightly finer than drip grind works best for me.

Perhaps Craig....but I'll wait until I see all the restaurants and convenience stores replace their Bunns with these. I know a Bunn will out last me and parts will always be available.
