Mine is #8. Evan, I'd take Dave up on his kind offer to perhaps set you up with a cory. As you know, these guys can be a frustrating time on the 'bay. My Cory works perfectly, no spring thing necessary.
Amazing, with the considerable amount of pressure each way, these filters do their job. The vac pot was a great design. Still is.
OT...the Yama retains more water down south during the brew than my other pots, but I compensate with a few grams more coffee.
