Hey Guys, I’d like to learn more about brand preference. If these brands of coffee were available in K-Cup form, which would you be most likely to purchase?
Allegro Coffee
Boyds
Club Coffee
Coffee Bean International
Distant Lands
Eight O’Clock Coffee
F. Gavina & Sons
Farmer Bros
Gloria Jean’s
illy Café
Joffrey’s
Massimo Zanetti
Mother Parker’s Tea & Coffee
New England Coffee Company
Peet’s
Royal Cup Coffee
S&D Coffee
Tully’s
Wallingford Coffee
Sticking with GMCR
Other big brands (Starbucks, Folgers, Maxwell, Caribou etc.)
Private Label (Safeway, Kroger, etc.)
Any comments and feedback is appreciated. Thanks for the help!
Well, first of all, a number of the brands listed *are* available in k-cup form already. Agreed that you might get more useful feedback elsewhere (e.g. www.singleservecoffeeforums.com) IF you introduce yourself properly and make clear why you're asking people for this sort of info., what you plan to do with the results, etc.
Agreed. Refillable is the way to go. At work I use K-cups and actually think they're underrated here as a method to use when less convenient (and better) methods aren't available (like for me at work). However, I use refillable (Eko-Brew) and grind my own self-roasted coffee in the morning and put it in the Eko-brew cup. At home, I don't have a Keurig and would never consider getting one.
I own a Keurig, used it some but preferred french press so i didn't use it often. Now I'm an espresso and maybe Aeropress guy.
When I was paying attention to K-cups, I liked Caribou and the Newman's own the best, consistently. The Green Mountain Coffee was good too.
Nothing else available at the local grocery or Target even compared.
I can't comment on everything on your list, but if you do find Caribou or Newman's, I recommend trying them. They were my favorites and I tried maybe 2 dozen kinds.
