Apologies if this is answered in another thread.
I don't have a scale in my kitchen, and would like to know how many grams of ground coffee this grinder holds. In particular, I want to know what the 1 and 2 cup symbols on the grinds chamber correlate with, and also the how much that little bit of extra space up to the very top is.

I can measure mine later with a scale, but I think the max 2 cup line is rated by them at 24G's, so I would guess 12 for each "cup".
If you want a nice small scale for the $, I bought this one Click Here (www.amazon.com) , the top you can lay on the scale and zero out the weight of it so you only weigh the beans, works perfect. It was accurate right out of the box too, .1g or so variance as I weighed a few things to check.

if you haven't done the mod, do it, there's a thread on here, but this is the one I used vs taping the shaft Click Here (www.roaste.com) . Kinda a pain, I actually trimmed my piece smaller as 3X8cm seemed to big, I couldn't get it to fold around tight enough to stick in, I also tape a few rounds around the outer burr (then cut little slits where the mounts are) to get it to fit tight and centered. But the grinder is more consistent and can grind extremely fine now, I used click 7 which would normally be getting towards the beginning of course for press/drip, but 7 was fine enough to cause to little flow today, gotta adjust it a bit.
But main thing is it grinds more consistently vs stock.
