Just wanted to thank everyone for their help! Baratza had the new Encore refurb on their site for $85, so I snagged one of those. Should arrive next week. Someone mentioned it, and it has very good reviews. Apparently you can even do on OK espresso (not that I need that now). I spoke to a rep at Baratza, she felt that though the Virtuoso was more consistent at the coarse end, the encore is still pretty good (especially since I don't have such a refined palate).
