Subject: Fresco Titanium Filter

Does any have experience using a Fresco titanium filter? The gold plated stainless filters are kind of pointless (although I used one for years and it was fine), but the titanium filter is at least solid and completely inert. They're $7 on Amazon, and I'm in need of a new permanent filter for my Newco.
