I wanted to get away from the machines.

I'm starting to learn towards the v6. Just trying to think of everything that I would need.

What if I just buy 2 v6 drippers? I would just need to figure out how to measure the water correctly for 2 servings in the kettle. How would that work?

Sounds like the Melitta 6-cup pourover with the thermal carafe might be your best bet. With a good grinder (not a Krups, though. You need a decent burr grinder and on a budget that means a hand grinder), it can make excellent coffee in the quantities you want and keep it warm until you drink it without excess flavor loss.

Don't know much about the V, but
I like the CCD and think the chemex is a good option.

The bcm 4 cup (because it's design: cone attached to carafe) can actually
be used as a manual pour over if ya wanted to.

If you're boiling water for your pour anyway, another option to think about
is something like a Revere ware stainless dripolator.
Sturdy, never need a filter, and mine has made me some great coffee.

I picked up the Aeropress because I was able to get it local. I'll give that a go for a bit and see how I like it.

Right now I'm looking for coffee to buy online :)
