You are in the unique position of having tried quite a few machines too. I would be interested in your take on the Brazen vs the Bunn Trifecta home - these machines are probably an "either or" choice for most since it would cost over $700 retail to try both. Since these represent a new level of built in "tweakabilty" (did I invent a new word?) for auto brewing your informed comments would be most welcome!
I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

Bob, my take on this thread is that it started as an honest attempt to show one retailers comparisons between a few well known drip machines, however has degenerated into nothing more than a pissing contest, ad nauseum, between a couple people.
It really is likely in the best interests of all involved to just lock this thread. Enough is enough.

I love those retro brewers. Have a napoletana which gets a (very occasional) outing when I can be bothered. Have you seen/tried the french ceramic drip pots that look like a teapot with a ceramic cylinder on top ? Beautiful and elegant nostalgia. Must look mine out and give it a go now your post has reminded me.

I have two napoletanas, a Vietnamese coffee and a Dorobor cuptop, four dripolators...well, check out the other pics from that link. I get carried away on Ebay, buying those old things. And they all work. They give "making coffee" a more personal touch.
And, yes...I've seen the ones you spoke of...I've considered either a ceramic or glass (ruby, of course) one to add.
